The Game I Did Not Want to Buy
Yes! As a Super Rare Club member I have early access to pre-order games, but we all know how it is: Sometimes it is just hard to keep up with all this limited print titles and so I decided to skip the Toki Tori Collection release. My reasoning for this decision was that I was not particularly interested in playing that game and did not have any nostalgic attachment to it.
So I let my 48 hours tick over which I have as Super Rare Club Member to pre-order a game until a release will be on sale. The very night Toki Tori Collection was officially available via Super Rare Games, I woke up in the middle of the night and could not fall asleep again. A bit bored, I checked my emails, opened Super Rare Games’ latest message and clicked on the Toki Tori trailer – once again. But this time, I was totally into what I saw! I had to get the game and headed straight away to the Toki Tori Collection product page: Luckily there were still some % of the 5.000 copies left, I think the % was below 10% – and so I pre-ordered the game I did not want to buy initially. At 2:38 A.M.

Uniqueness and Footage of this Physical Release
The cartridge contains all three Toki Toki games: Toki Tori 1, Toki Tori 2+ and an emulated version of the original Toki Tori on Game Boy Color. Means: In case you want to play the Game Boy Color version on your Switch, this physical Toki Tori Collection is the only way to play the original Toki Tori – since this title is not available digitally. This does make this Super Rare Games’ physical edition very unique, doesn’t it?
Additionally: Toki Tori 1 for Nintendo Switch is the most detailed portable version of the game so far. There are 80+ levels, dozens of hours of gameplay, super smooth graphics at 60 fps, HD rumble and Video capture support and always pretty handy: Rewind the time or even skip a level in order to not get stuck! Toki Tori 2+ is considered to be better than ever on Nintendo Switch, with lots of gameplay tweaks and even some new secrets and puzzle solutions. Plus, you can now create checkpoints wherever you like, allowing for easy experimentation. Check out the Toki Tori 2+ demo on the eShop to try out the game for yourself!
